Danilo Pozo

Customer Experience - Latin America

In July 2018 Danilo Pozo joined the Latin America Sales leadership team as Senior Director of Latin America Customer Experience. Under his current role Danilo is responsible for leading CX and positioning the full CX Portfolio, engaging with the Partner ecosystem and aligning closely with Product Sales, Operations, Marketing, Channels, Advanced Services, Technical Services and Global Virtual Sales teams to drive the vision, strategy and execution of an Integrated Solution selling business and accelerate the adoption of CX across Latin America.

With over twenty one years working experience in the LatAm region, Danilo joined Cisco in 2000 and since then he has held key roles that have given him the opportunity to continuously develop his professional and leadership skills, allowing him to establish a winning team culture with high customer satisfaction and consistent business growth.

Danilo began his career in Cisco as Channel Account Manager, successfully enabling selected 2-Tier partners in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay; later as Product Account Manager he was responsible for the penetration of Cisco’s Video solution and for building and executing a Managed Services plan for two major Service Providers in Mexico. Four years later, Danilo became a Services Client Manager increasing Technical and Advanced Services penetration in Central America and the Caribbean.

Since 2007 as Regional Director of Services for CANSAC, he led a territory that includes 5 countries in Central America, seventeen Dependent Territories in the Caribbean as well as Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela, where he maintained and increased Cisco’s services footprint despite major political and economic challenges in some of these countries.

Prior to joining Cisco, Danilo worked in Panasonic, Sunbeam and for CVG International in Latin America.

He holds an MBA on International Business from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Florida and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

He enjoys sharing quality time with his wife Gabriella and kids (Daniella 20, Diego 16 and Gaby 14) in addition to an occasional round of golf, physical training, running and watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
